BEAUTY & THE GEEK
AND THE ONE WITH
THE SAME NAME
Today my mom made me my favorite, chwee kueh, for breakfast.
YUM YUM!
Mommy's such a darling.
Well, Mom's not cooking dinner today.
She ordered Pizza and it has just arrived.
The smell of melted cheese is just superb.
Anyways, I cannot get enough of Beauty & The Geek.
I am hook to it!
They are now showing Season 3 on channel 5
every Monday night at 11.30pm.
It's not just a reality tv show.
It's the ultimate social experiment.
8 beauties
(young women who have relied primarily on their looks thus far in life)
and 8 geeks
(young men who have relied primarily on intellect and are socially inept)
are paired up to compete as couples for $250,000 and other prizes.
'Never judge a book by its' cover' can never be more real
than what this show is trying to show us.
I like the fact that it showed the 'beauties' how superficial they were
and they also learned a lot from the show.
One of them was to always look beyond the surface
and accept people for who they are.
Geeks are human too and they are very nice people.
Like they say, 'Good things come in strange packages!'
(Now ladies, we can all learn from the show. heh.)
So anyways, while the 'beauties' learn about science, math and all that
unimportant stuff, (haha!) the 'geeks' learn about celebrities,
diamonds, shopping, fashion, etc.
The geeks will also have a makeover.
(I loveeeeee makeover!)
I think they should make another show like this
only the difference is the geek is a girl and the beauty is a guy.
I mean, why do girls alwayssss get pick on?
Some guys are also shallow.
It's okay for them to want pretty girls
but it's not okay for us girls to want cute boys.
They'll start calling us superficial and stuff.
I guess it's a common double standard of society.
Ugh. I hate double standard. Hate!
The guy gets all the glory the more he can score
While the girl can do the same and yet you call her a whore
I don't understand why it's okay
The guy can get away with it & the girl gets named

Okay back to the show.
I still think it should be called Bimbos & the Geeks. HAHA.
I mean seriously, those girls are clueless!
I loveeeee Lauren Bergfeld from first season.
She's so cute. Plus she got a hot body.
She's such an airhead and so ditzy but she's very very lovable.
She can't even answer a simple addition math question.
I don't remember it exactly but it goes something like 45+32+73 = ?
She can't even answer that. But then again I don't think I can either.
Unless there's a calculator. HAHA.
I hate numbers. Unless it's on a price tag.
Or calculating discount. hahahaha.

He rocks okay! And as geeky as ever.

[We share the same name! haha!]
She's extremely sweet, open-minded and
accepts people for who they are.

But my parents did not name me.
My 2nd brother did.
When my mom gave birth to me,
my 2nd brother was like 10 years old.
And he had a crush on this girl in his school.
That girl name is Nadia.
So he told my parents to name me Nadia.
Maybe that has got to do why he adores me so.
