Quality time with mommy was great as always. Gotten myself two toners, two foundations, one red lipstick and one make-up remover. All paid for by mommy dearest. Thankies mom. Heh.
Anyways later in the evening, while everyone was busy chasing and stalking rockstars and getting ready for singfest, I was just chilling and watching Making The Band 4 Season 2 marathon on MTV (I love Aubrey O'Day! and Donnie is kinda cute) while waiting for my brother to text. Then halfway through the show, my brother texted me to meet him downstairs. So Don, Shasha and I made our way downstairs, met my brother and drove to Tampines Safra for his soccer match.
It was actually not a competition. Just a friendly match. You see, my brother and his Cisco colleagues decided to set up a team and play every week for fitness purposes. Just for fun and health. So every week they will play friendly matches against random teams. Last night was no different. It was a random team which the referee picked. And boy, it was the wrong team to be up against. Haha. They were too strong for the "Spartans" (That's what they called themselves) It was a coincidence that I wore my Gladiator sandals to the match. So I said to my brother that I was a Spartan too. And he casually said "Ya bukan Spartan. Ya Sepatu."HAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHA!!! I laughed so hard my tummy ached.
My brother's jersey. He was the defender. The scoreline was 0-0 during the first half but it was 4-0 by the final whistle. But the Spartans did their best. The goalkeeper was awesome. He was really good. But he was so obvious. Asking my brother about me. Haha. (We'll get to that later.)
My brother and his colleagues are so funny. I cannot stop laughing. Like really, with their ridiculous antics and sarcastically funny comments. I felt like I was the one working out by the end of the match. I think I might have abs! HAHAI! I enjoyed myself totally.
Because they are called "Spartans", one of them yelled "GO SPARTANS!! AHH WOOOO, AHH WOOOO, AHH WOOOO!" Then another one of them was like "Eh kau panggil anjing pe?"HAHAHAHA! FUNNY K. Some of them also have funny names printed on their jersey. My brother decided on his original name though. Like this guy named Rahman opted for "Raemon", Sarip opted for "Shaka" and that goalkeeper opted for "Azmi Thai". My brother said he was called "Azmi Thai" because he likes to pretend to speak Thai. He will randomly anyhow speak this language that sounds like Thai but it's not really Thai. He just made it up. Hahahaha. I can so imagine that.
Okay so this guy "Azmi Thai" was like pulling my brother aside and started talking to him while glancing over at me at the same time. I don't know what he said but I don't want to know and I won't know. My brother will not tell me anything. I'm his sister and that's his friend. It's just weird. Then we walked together to the carpark. My brother asked me "Ya, dorang ckp muka abang ayen ngan dia *points to Azmi Thai* same. Same ke?" I looked at my brother then at him and said "Ade la sikit-sikit." Then "Azmi Thai" jokingly said to my brother, "Ril, ade kosong tak? Aku tidur pat hall pon aku tak kisah." My brother just smiled. Then before he walked to his bike he was like, "Ril, kau nak adik ipar tak?" Again my brother just smiled and then we got in the car, said our goodbyes and drove off.
It is not going to happen. I know my brother. His friend and his sister just don't seem right. Haha. I think every brother is like that. The thought of their friend hooking up with their sister just didn't sit well with them.
