30-SOMETHING GUYS
You know what are the perks for having your cousin working as a beauty consultant? She can recommend you all the new and/or good beauty products. Best still, she could get it for you at a discounted price! I wanted to try a new mascara and so I asked Ina to recommend me one. She recommended Christian Dior's Diorshow Blackout Mascara. I googled it and the reviews were pretty good and women are actually raving about it. And so I asked Ina to get it for me. Thanks eh cousin. I so can't wait to try the mascara. Faster leh. Heh.
Yaye! Bobbi Brown's lipgloss and Christian Dior's mascara. I am sooooo gonna be totally glam this raya. Oh yeah.
Okay about work. My contract is ending next month right? Well, my AOC said he wanna keep me. But it's impossible because in their SOP, there are no administrative staff in their unit. All are solely officers. Which means, they have to go through the head, and then another higher authority and then another higher authority and then finally the Director just to keep me. Oh the hassle! I believed my AOC already brought this issue up to our head but I guess it didn't work. So now he told me he will recommend me to the other units. I just have to keep my fingers crossed that someone resign before my contract ends. And my AOC added that if no one does, he'll try his best to extend my contract. Sweet huh my AOC and colleagues?! My colleagues actually sent an email to my OC to keep me. Obviously, they think I've been doing a good job so THANK YOU. I appreciate all your help and I definitely appreciate you guys. But if I do get permanent, I won't be working with them anymore. I'll be at a different unit, different floor, different office. Worst, I have to work with girls! Ugh. HAHA.
I've been seeing a lot of ladies going out with younger guys. Like a lot. Even my brother's schoolmate (a secondary 3 student) is going out with a secondary 5 girl. I think it is becoming a norm or a trend perhaps. I personally had enough of younger guys. I've dated a lot of them in the past. It didn't go so well. So yeah, no more younger guys. I've dated someone 2 years younger and 3 years younger than me. Bad memories. Don't even wanna go there.
My girls and I think that older guys are still waaaayyy better. Not just a few years older. But like at least 5 years older. We thought it's better that way. I've given it a lot of thought and I have no qualms marrying someone 10 years older (or 12 years older max) than me . As long as they're in the same category as my brother, Shahril. A 30-something who looks younger than his real age and still wears clothes from Topman. Hah! But seriously, 30-something guys nowadays look younger than they really are. (which is why they are worth considering)
Here are some of the reasons why we should consider those 30-something guys.
- They are matured.
- They are financially stable.
- Majority of them have given up their clubbing days and lepak-ing in the wee hours so that's one less thing for you to worry about.
- They are usually actually ready to settle down and start a family.
- Most of them are very loving towards younger wives. *ahem ahem* HAHA.
FYI: My 1st brother's wife is 10 years younger than him and my 2nd brother's wife is 8 years younger than him.
