Sometimes I wish that I was an angel A fallen angel who visits your dreams And in those dreams I'd blow you a message That says "You really want me"
Sometimes I wish that I was a wrestler A Mexican wrestler in a red vinyl mask And I might grab you and body slam you And maybe cause physical harm When we would land I might take pity on you I could crack all your ribs but I can't break your heart
You will never love me And this I can't forgive That you will never love me As long as I will live

RABBIT WITHOUT EARS
You know what's really awesome to watch if you really have nowhere to bring a girl on a date (or maybe you're just not creative and romantic enough. OR maybe you're just simply couldn't be bothered) and have to settle for a movie?
A romantic foreign comedy.
You can never go wrong with a romantic foreign comedy. Maybe it's the language. Or maybe it's the unfamiliar scenes/scenery. I don't know about the other girls but I dig foreign films. And I would be thrilled if a guy wanna bring me out to catch a foreign film. Don't really know why but there's just something beautiful about it. I think guys should broaden their mind and be creative a little bit. Instead of the normal, boring dinner and movie date, they should maybe take it up a notch and watch a foreign film (if they really have to bring a girl out to a movie), take her out to see a play, (Theater is beautiful) go to the museum, miniature golfing, etc. See guys, there's actually a lot to do!
Well, I really reallyreally wanna watch Rabbit Without Ears. A German romantic comedy. Now showing. So...*hint*hint* HAH!

RIDE IT
It's been about a month and twenty days And we're going round and round playing silly games Now you're saying, slow it down, not right now Then you wink at me and walk away
Ride it, ride it, let me feel you
Yeah, kinda addicted to that song. Jay Sean's Ride It (:
My craving for thosai was granted during lunch today. Hafiz and Aslam brought me to Little India - yet again! And they treated me to a delicious, much craved for thosai. Yum. I totally indulged, slowing eating my plain thosai, dipping every sauce, savoring every flavor. Heaven okay. Haha. I had ladoo too. Sweeeeeeet.
I have a major school girl crush on MTV's presenter, Tim Kash. So effin' cute and has a British accent. What's not to like?

Well I know that it maybe too soon to know just what you'd like But I wanna know what you've been through, what you want from life

MERI JAAN
I am feeling super Indian these days. Wonder what has got into me? I've been listening to Jay Sean and Raghav lately. I've been watching Bollywood films again. I watched Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (for the 451289 times) last Sunday and Mohabbatein (for the 785987463021 times) today. Tebiat kan? I've been ridiculously craving for Indian food. RI-DI-CU-LOUS-LY!I am, as of right now, is craving for thosai, briyani dam, mutton masala, butter chicken, garlic naan, Indian sweets and that delicious red, crispy Indian squid that's available in Little India!! Siao or not you tell me?!
Maybe it's you babe
:)

Due 3 weeks ago . . .
I was too busy to blog about how my birthday went due to work and other stuff. This year I celebrated my birthday at work with my colleagues since I could not take leave due to other people who needs to go on exam leave. So, I have to give in. But after knowing that only one staff from a team will be granted for leave, I have forecasted my leave for the entire of year 2009. So kiasu right.....?????? But, its boring having to work on your birthday itself.
The 1st one who gave me a present was my colleague. She told me that she had to see me urgently at the locker room to tell me about an important issue. So, I make my way up and she surprised me with a gift. It was a forever friends "beruang". And, that was the "important issue"!! The rest of my colleagues sang me a birthday song and treat me to tearounds.
Back from work, my loved ones at home surprised me with a birthday cake. My youngest sis bought me the gladiator sandal. I was not feeling too well actually because 2 days before my birthday, I was spending 3 hours at CGH, having to put on the oxygen mask twice. It stinks like "tayar terbakar"!!!
Then a guyfriend of mine bought me a set of pyjamas from LA SENZA. Another guyfriend of mine met me a week after my birthday and bought me "TWO" pairs of ADIDAS sneakers from LEFTFOOT and also my favourite perfume, LOLITA!! ("Woah!! So banyak!! U better grab the skinny ones!!") Well, only Nadiah and Lina understands what I've said in the previous line.We were like having a tour of the whole town just to get the two pairs of sneakers. Then I went to East Coast Park to meet my squadmate who was blading with her husband. Of course I dont know how to blade. Her husband's friends, 3 of them came to join us for dinner.
And of course, my lovely SIN ladies!!! They got me a GUESS wallet. It is super "gemok" that I can fit everything inside, including my lipgloss!!! But, its nice!! I love it... And of course, birthday wishes that was like "banjir" in my inbox!
I love the 23rd year I must say. . .

23rd BIRTHDAY WITH STYLE
I celebrated my 23rd birthday with style. Best birthday everrr. Oh yeah.
November 13th. Pre-celebration.
I went for a 3-hour lunch break with Aslam, Hafiz and Rashid. (3-hour! I know right!) They brought me to Little India! I don't know about you guys but I love little India. I love Mustafa Centre. Haha. So I was more than willing when they wanted to bring me there for lunch. They treat me lunch and I had chapati. Awesome. Birthday gift from the guys? A day in Little India and chapati. HAHA.
Then after work, I had a pre-birthday dinner with Sakina. She suprised me with a bang! She picked me up from work not with her usual Mitsubishi Lancer. Instead, she picked me up for my pre-birthday dinner with a red Daihatsu Copen!! A convertible car! I was super surprised. My face was priceless as I was told. B did all that for me. Just for my birthday. How motherfucking sweet is that?! Don't you wish you were her bestfriend? Haha. Anyways, the ride was effin' awesome with a little bit of sun glistening off your skin and hair blowing in the wind, or in your face most of the time. Haha. So many eyes were on us that day. There were two Indian guys riding on a bike who did a "thumbs up" at us. Two Caucasian guys in a cab waving at us. A few Chinese youths on their bikes where the guys smiled at us and the girls obviously were in awe and were seen happily dancing to our music. (We blasted The Pussycat Dolls track) And a few more strangers who somewhat gave a sense of approval to two young girls in a convertible, with blasting music and obviously having the time of their life.
We made our way to Heat Ultralounge at Royal Plaza on Scotts Hotel where we have made dinner reservations for two. The place was fantastic. Lively, colorful and has a live band. If you don't drink, like us, ask them to recommend some popular non-alcoholic drinks which we did and the friendly waiter recommended us Harmony. I like the drink! One of the best non-alcoholic drink I've tasted in a bar/pub. Sakina & I are definitely coming back to just chill, unwind, nibble on some snacks, drink non-alcoholic drinks and listen to their live band which we didn't get to do. So B, anytime you're ready, let's go back there!
November 14th. Actual celebration.
My two AOC bought me a birthday cake! I had a mini celebration at work all thanks to my colleagues. My colleagues were all super nice lor.
Actual birthday was celebrated with Dowayne, Ina and Shakila after I knocked off from work. We went to VivoCity to shop, checked out the beautiful Christmas lights at the rooftop, played basketball at Timezone, went back to Tampines and shoot some real hoops at a basketball court at a community centre at 2 in the morning and chillaxed ourselves senseless until 4.30am. Fun time people. Fun time.
Birthday gifts!
I received a Hello Kitty package which includes Hello Kitty mirror, Hello Kitty handyplast, Hello Kitty comb and Hello Kitty nail clipper from one of my colleague. It's so cute and pink. I love Hello Kitty! (Sorry, forgotten to take a picture though)
Sarah Jessica Parker's Covet set from my brothers, Shahril and Dowayne. I loveeeeeeee it. Thanks you guys!! Purse from Topshop and cute sandals from Charles & Keith from the S.I.N ladies. Exactly what I wanted! Thanks beautifuls!
I wanna thank everybody who has made it a point to either call or text message me just to wish me happy birthday. Believe it or not, all of them are guys except for Sakina, Ina, Iris and Ina's sister Fiza. Pfffffft. I guess I have always been one of the boys huh. So thank you S.I.N ladies, Ariff, Amin, Anand, Hilmi, Khairul, Samir, Nazreen, Jimmy, Shahril, Layne, Fazli, Khair, Asraf, Fiza, Iris and Achap. It's funny how a lot of guys wished me but I didn't feel all that special because the only two guys I wanted to hear from didn't even give a fuck about me or my birthday. Thanks a lot Mr. Jay Sean lookalike and Mr. Undercover.
Well, overall, this year's birthday was super duper amazing. Best birthday everrr. It would be difficult to top this. I can't wait for next year already. Hahai. Kidding!
